Acid wash is a method used to remove discoloration on surfaces caused by build up of algae, calcium, and other factors that come along with common pool chemical imbalance. Build up can range from sections of the pool, to the pool's entire surfaces.
How is an acid wash done?
To do our acid wash, the pool is first completely drained. Next we send our technician out to begin the process. The technician pours the chemical mixture along the sidewalls of the pool. As it spreads down to the floor, removing the build up, the tech then promptly rinses the surface. This process is done along the pool's surface, in areas affected, until the desired look is achieved.
